What is the minimum age to enter Horror Hill and Vertigo Haunted Trails?

That is a very complex answer. Some children that are very young laugh at the site of someone in a mask. Some get very scared. Some adults get scared and some don't. Just remember, there will be very dark conditions with masked monsters jumping out at all times. There will be loud music, smoke, and scary effects of all kinds.

Can we bring alcohol?

Sorry, but alcohol is prohibited on the property.  You will be asked to leave WITHOUT a refund.

Can I drink beer in line?

No. This is an increasing problem. Our Police Officers and Security will be watching the lines very closely. Again, you will be asked to leave without a refund if caught with alcohol.

How long will the Trails take to complete?

Actual time depends on a lot of factors. Some people that do not get scared easily may walk very fast through the trails and complete the trails faster. Horror Hill and Vertigo Haunted Trails starts the minute you enter our parking lot. Monsters haunt the entire 20 acre grounds. You can be "attacked" at any time. With that in mind, your haunting experience will take approximately one hour to complete if you choose the combo ticket.

What should I wear?

Do not wear nice or expensive clothing. It is recommended that you wear something casual. It is recommended that you wear older, comfortable shoes.

If I get too scared, can I get a refund?

Sorry, but no refunds are given. Horror Hill has already STARTED when you buy your ticket. If you get scared AFTER you buy your ticket then we have done our job! NO REFUNDS. Make your decision on going in BEFORE you buy your tickets!

Will Horror Hill close if it rains?

Because Horror Hill is mainly an outdoor event, it may be subject to closure in severe weather. We will do our best to post updates on the website in the event of a closure. Be sure to refresh your page for the most up to date information.

Why can I not speak with a human when I call Horror Hill?

We are constantly working in the 20 acres of Horror Hill to make the show better. We do try to answer as many calls as possible. Our website and our phone system covers most information about Horror Hill. If you do need to contact us, you can always reach us at horrorhill@gmail.com or on our message board.

Will drinks and food be available?

Yes, there will be a concession stand located at the event. They have hot dogs, nachos, cotton candy, soft drinks, and other items.

Will strobe lights be used?

Yes, patrons with epilepsy should be aware that strobe lights are used throughout the trail.

How long will I have to wait in line at Horror Hill?

That all depends on when you want to come. Of course we will be busiest on Fridays and Saturdays and Halloween. We also get busier the closer we get to Halloween. To sum it up, if you come early in the season and avoid Fridays and Saturdays then you will have a better chance of not waiting in line.
VIP tickets are also available which will help you avoid most of the lines. These tickets can be purchased here.

Is there going to be a hayride this year?

No. In the past, the hayride has become more of a distraction as the tractors are loud and take away from the haunted experience. With this in mind, we will not have the hayride this year.
